What is a webcast?
A webcast is an unedited audio and video recording of a council meeting made available to view on our website. We began webcasting meetings of full Council in March 2015.
Watch a council meeting
Webcasts are available to watch free of charge. You can view them live during the meeting, or catch up on past meetings via the webcast library archive.
Recent and upcoming meetings are displayed on the right of this page - click on the required meeting and the webcast will begin automatically. You will also find links to council agendas and reports for each meeting under the Resources link, which will give the background information about the issues being discussed.
Archive
Webcasts are normally archived immediately following the meeting and are available on this website for 18 months from the date of the meeting.
Sharing and Social Media
Click the Share button underneath the webcast player to share a link via social media sites or email. Viewers are also encouraged to follow Caerphilly County Borough Council on social media (Facebook and Twitter) for news updates and a reminder of when meetings will be webcast.
Help Pages
Should you experience problems in viewing a webcast, you can access the help pages to find out more about webcasting, how it works, and what equipment you will need to view a webcast. If you are still experiencing problems, you can comment using the Feedback link located above the webcast viewing window.
